friday night i went to hoboken for only the second time ever in the 8 years that i've lived in nyc. not much can drag me west of the hudson, but i went out to see my favorite local band, the affair. they played at maxwell's and did what they do best...rock out.

the rest of the weekend was spent drinking, recovering, drinking at bars, drinking at a friend's birthday party, and recovering (again).

my friend who went to the party texted me today saying he didn't remember getting home last night. funny thing is...i don't either. i vaguely remember getting in a cab. but i don't remember paying for it (which might be why i'm short twenty bucks...i think i way overtipped). i don't remember climbing five flights of stairs. what i do remember from this weekend is booze and music.
