so for those of you who live in ny (or dallas, west palm, boston, among other places), you know of a new station called free fm that launched in january. being that i live in nyc, i get the joy (or discontent) of listening to 92.3. free fm. i listen to this station probably more than i care to admit. i wake up to david lee roth in the mornings. i miss listening to howard, but as of now, 10 bucks a month for a few hours of radio programming isn't exactly worth it for me at this point. i should probably wait til i make more money before splurging on my radio entertainment.

the only time i listened to jv and elvis (who follow roth) are when he they were sitting in for roth the week he was on vacation. i have to admit, they were pretty awesome.

i don't listen to jim cramer. i can't even stand mad money, so why would i listen to him?

i've listened to penn jillette on occassion. highly entertaining for those 60 minutes.

i probably don't listen to the radio chick very often. as a matter of fact, i rarely listen to the radio while i'm at work. but i have heard bwe's own chuck nice between the hours of 3-7pm.

i do listen to the booker show, but more towards the end of their show and then it goes into jake and jackie's show.

now you might think, claudia, why the hell do you listen to that crap anyway? truth be told, i kinda like the talk radio. i hate listening to the same 10 songs on radio playlists today. and if i wanted to listen to music, i'd just listen to my ipod. i kinda like listening to people rant and bitch and talk about nothing. i don't have the desire to listen to z100 or plj or hot 97. maybe if la's kroq was broadcast out here, i'd listen to that.

so although radio might be a dying medium, i can't help but remain somewhat faithful.
