"tybrus" and other things i did tonight

an old co-worker of mine invited me to go see a new show that he and a friend/colleague wrote that was playing at the ucb theatre in nyc. it was appropriately named "tybrus", a hybrid of their last names. celebrities are shortening their names, why not regular folk?

anyway, the show was basically about 45 minutes of a semi-scripted/improv show performed by the two talented dudes that wrote it. it basically told the day in the life of two lifeguards. the show seemed to be pretty successful. nearly every seat in the house was full. if the show does well, you should definitely check it out.

when i got home, i expected to find my roommate, who's been out of town for the last few days, but alas, she had not returned. i read a little of the current book i'm reading, then opted to watch my DVR'd "prison break" episode. that show makes me feel so effin' anxious. i'm ready for it to be over. but i love it and tune in every week. so i guess FOX's plan is working.
