on a whim, i went to the yankee/royals game with my friend M and his dad. we sat amongst the rabid bleacher fans. it was my first time sitting in the bleachers and it's like a different culture out there. those fans were like family to each other. the yankees ended up winning 6-5. so it was a great game. i'm hoping to make it to the red sox/yanks game next week. fingers crossed!

i spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around manhattan. mostly window shopping in hopes of finding a dress for an event in a few weeks. since i was in the union square area, i decided to drop by blue 9 burger, which someone told me about while i was in LA. it doesn't compare to in n out burger, but it was still okay. nothing to brag about though in my opinion.

i couldn't be happier i have a three day weekend. one more day to enjoy before i go to work.
