...i met david lee roth!


i've written several posts about DLR and joked about how i thought it would be awesome to meet him. he didn't do a cool jump like this when i met him last week, or the long 80s hair. it was almost an awkward meeting, but still cool nonetheless. my friend D from vh1 radio was awesome to introduce me to him. and then it got weird...

DLR: hi.

me: hi.

D from radio: this is C, she's a big fan. she works for vh1 and wanted to come by and say hi.

DLR: well nice to meet you.

me: great to meet you. good luck with your new album.

that was pretty much the exchange. i think i expected a bit more from diamond dave. the meeting was defintiely anti-climactic. but oh well. thing number 3, 486 to do before i die, meet david lee roth, is officially crossed off my list.
