so if you live in the new york city area, you know the headlines the last week have either dealt with 1) the subway stabbings that occured this week or 2) the crazy ass cab drivers and one in particular that ended in a fatal crash.

being that the subways and cabs are pretty much my only modes of transportation in nyc, you'd think i'd be a little bit more worried. i mean, don't get me wrong, i look around me and wonder if the person next to me is carrying a weapon or looks mentally unstable in any sort of way. but i guess you never really can tell and you can't predict what's gonna happen. and if someone really was crazy and wanted to stab you, it would only take a second or two.

and as far as the crazy cabbies go, i never really put much effort into it. i think of one friend in particular, because he would always tell cabbies to slow it down or be careful. i think as long as i get from point a to point b...i'll be happy.

so needless to say, let's hope the next threat on modes of transportation doesn't strike planes...or scooters...or vespas.
