a day after the date "6.6.06", we're still standing. although there are definitely signs of the apocolypse. don't believe me? just come visit new york city. today i actually wore a sweater. and it's raining. it's april weather in june! what the crap is going on? oh yeah, that whole GLOBAL WARMING thing that people keep ignoring.

speaking of the end of the world, i appropriately went to go see the omen yesterday. the movie wasn't bad for a remake. although the audience did laugh every time they had a close up of the kid that played damien...especially when he smiled. it was almost comical. but it was still creepy. i think i might walk the other way next time i see a fair skinned child with dark hair and blue eyes.

i also went to one of my favorite bars, the trailer park, to wish my friend a happy birthday. lucky for me she was already sloshed when i got there, so needless to say, she was in a very happy mood.

tonight i went to go see a friend's show at the ucb theater. margot leitman co-wrote a show called "slow night" that is playing every wednesday in the month of june. it's only $5 and it's about jersey waitresses who work the overnight shift at a diner. definitely check it out.
