so even i'm sick of myself complaining about not having electricity in my apartment. still no word on when the power will come back, except that they're "hoping" by sunday. hoping. great. that makes me feel so much better.

ridiculous.

i feel like a displaced katrina victim. i mean it did rain and flood in parts of queens this morning. and i'm without electricity. it's sort of the same, right? oprah, if you're reading this, i could really use some help. like a beautiful duplex in the village. yeah, that would be great.

even my computer at work decided to crap out on me. it's like anything electronic hates my guts right now. but at least the wonderful IT guys fixed that. now if only the wonderful IT guys could fix my electricity problem at home...
