i randomly ran into an old friend on the subway today that i haven't talked to in about 4 or 5 months, maybe even longer than that. we talked on the subway platform for about 20 minutes. i learned that he's moving out of nyc in a month and that he and a friend bought a bar in virginia.

had i not run into him randomly on the R train, i might've not known this since we sorta lost touch. thank goodness for random subway run-ins.
