this morning i went to the endodontist before work(but that's another story).

by the time it was over, i was about a half hour late to work, which isn't a big deal at all since i let my boss know i'd be late, but i decided to take a cab anyway. it's a short ride and a cheap fare.

when i got in the cab, i noticed some smooth jazz sounds playing and cd's prominently displayed between the driver and passenger seat. they were titled moods & grooves by ellsworth forrester.

it was such a short cab ride i didn't want to get into a conversation about him as a musician. i didn't buy a cd, but i did give him an extra tip.
