tonight's "phyllis' wedding" episode was pretty awesome. i'm sure michelle will have an awesome recap on the bwe.tv blog tomorrow. until then, here are some office spoilers i found online:

- "Business School". Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon got a lesson in typecasting when he was brought in to direct the Feb. 15 episode of NBC’s The Office. While much of the focus is on a student art show that includes the work of Pam (Jenna Fischer), there’s also a bit about a bat taking up residence at Dunder Mifflin. “I was thinking I was doing something just about people,” he told TV Guide during a break in the shooting. “Then there was a bat-stunt meeting, an animatronic-bat meeting … I thought, ‘This is what I’m running away from!’ There was only one bat in the entire run of Buffy. We couldn’t afford it.”

- "Cocktails". Michael (Steve Carell) and Jan (Melora Hardin) go public with their relationship during a party at their CFO’s home. At the party, Jim (John Krasinski) meets Karen’s (Rashida Jones) ex. Meanwhile, the rest of the office decides to go to happy hour for drinks. This episode airs February 22.

- The news broke today that Rashida Jones (The Office’s Karen) has been cast on the new Fox comedy The Rules of Starting Over (alongside Boston Legal’s Craig Bierko), and insiders close to NBC confirm to me that Rashida is not expected to be employed under the roof of The Office after the season finale in May. The only hitch? Insiders also tell me that Roy is not out of the picture—and will be making another play for Pam.
