i'm really sad i missed this event. i mean, bill clinton is on the "people i want to meet" list. then again, i couldn't afford the $2300 price tag. i don't think i would enjoy a spinning class. and i'm not sure i would want my $2300 going to the hillary clinton campaign fund.

but then i read that the class consisted of only 45 people (mainly women...big surprise) and that he took the time to meet every single one of them, i was a bit jealous. but i think this was my favorite part of the article:

"Spinning classes at Soul Cycle normally cost about $25. But for this special class spinners paid $2300 a piece and they never even got to see Clinton sweat. He showed up in a suit and told the class he had already worked out earlier in the day."

it's not so much that i would've liked to have seen bill clinton on a bike, more so that i think i would curse his name when i was out of breath on that stationary bike and knowing i'd paid $2300 for that torture (the exercise of course, not the meeting bill part).
