i can say as a dog owner in new york city, i am more than happy to abide by this law, being that the last thing i would want is to step in a big pile of dog poo. 

so yesterday, i woke up and i noticed a dog turd in my hallway. exhibit A:

first of all, it's not even outside, it's IN MY BUILDING. and not only that, it's on MY FLOOR. outside MY APARTMENT. the worst part? i have a sticker on my door that notifies firefighters to save my dog in the event of a fire. so basically i advertise the fact that i have a dog. so now my neighbors probably think that the dog turd is my dog's fault. it's because of some a-hole neighbor of mine who couldn't bother going back to pick it up. 

you better believe  i'm not picking up the turd. it's gross. but the fact that it's just out in the hallway is disgusting. i'm hoping the super comes by to mop the floors today and that it's gone by the time i come back from work.
