i'm sure most every 20 and 30 something suffers from this: family spam e-mails. you know, the ones that say if you "forward this message, microsoft will send you a check for $1000 dollars" or something. i don't even bother opening anything that starts with the subject "Fwd" or "FW", especially if it comes from my family. okay, maybe i don't delete ALL of them. i still open the ones that have the words "discount" or "party"...
back to my point. just moments ago, my aunt sent me a text message saying this:
"fwd: fwd: SPRINT FREE MESSAGE: send this message to ten people and you will be credited with 60.00 to your account".
technology is scary in the hands of my relatives. they abuse the power of e-mailing, and now, texting.
my family has found a new way to send spam messages to me

I get so much of this. There is also religious spam they send, yet I never got the Obama is a Muslim forward thank goodness. Lots of chain letters, you know, the Jesus loves you, but if you don't forward on this message, he will give you bad luck. Now I'm looking forward to the text messages.
