i can't believe that the 365 days that made up 2008 are gone already. my mom said "time seems to go by faster the older you get." and although i only turned 28 this year, i believe her. i'm gonna sound like a cliche for about 5 seconds and say that this year was such a blur. i had some pretty great times and some wonderful memories from '08. my only regrets are not hitting the gym more and not going on more dates (or not having a bf relationship this year). thankfully, my friendships thrived and i'm closer to my family than ever.

before i get to the things i liked, i'll start with a few things i hated in 2008:
-the writer's strike
-sarah palin
-one of my best friends moving to st. louis
-fox news (nothing new)
-the new york giants winning the super bowl
-the ongoing war in the middle east
-michael phelps (and the mania that followed)
-pushing daisies getting cancelled
-losing my 401k
-airline surcharges for anything

things i don't know if i loved or hated in 2008:
-mike huckabee's fox news show

things i loved in 2008:
-flying to las vegas and hanging out with my aunts
-election night in nyc
-barack obama being elected president
-chuck
-"I'm f*cking matt damon" (and ben affleck follow up)
-tim riggins
-the stadium tour at the now "old" yankee stadium
-buying a black macbook
-summer weekends in fire island
-dr. horrible's sing-along blog
-rooney/locksley concert at irving plaza
-the dark knight
-seeing the SATC movie with my friends
-summer softball games
-the britney spears comeback
-going to south padre island with my family
-pushing daisies
-seeing new kids on the block at madison square garden with my friends
-anderson cooper

-tina fey as sarah palin
-lost
