it's been snowing steadily for the last 4 hours in NYC and it's supposed to be like this for the rest of the day. and of course, our secret santa exchange is at 3pm. and i waited til 12:30p today to go buy a gift. so i braved the snow and went to the liquor store to buy the bourbon that my co-worker wished for.  in the 30 minutes i was gone, my uggs (yes, let the ridicule begin) got SOAKING wet. i've lived here for 10 years. you would think i'd own a proper pair of snow shoes.

i went to the apple store afterward to buy a gift card and i saw the guy who played bobby on the sopranos (his name, after i looked it up of course, is steven shirripa). so my trek outside wasn't a total loss...i got a pseudo-celeb sighting out of it.
