one of them was "bored 2 death". the new hbo show starring jason schwartzman, olivia thirlby, and ted danson. the other was something called the sorcerer's apprentice. so after looking it up on imdb, there was actually a movie by the same name that came out in 2002, so i'm not sure if it's a remake. but the one that's filming now stars nicolas cage and alfred molina. i'm sorry, but all i could think about was this:

here's the actual plot description: A sorcerer (Cage) leaves his workshop in the hands of his apprentice (Baruchel), who gets into trouble when the broomstick he's tasked to do his chores for him somehow develops a mind of its own.

aaaaaand with that said, i will NOT be seeing this movie. or anything with nicolas cage in it.
