it was only a year ago that my mom and i were having brunch in the meatpacking district for mother's day. sadly, she was unable to make the trip this year, but i gave her a call to wish her a "happy mother's day" back in dallas.
i guess she hasn't gotten the pkg i sent her yet, as there was no mention of it. and thus, i failed at getting it there in time. oh well.
