friday morning my friend K (girl 1 who i stayed with) picked up her friend A who was also visiting from new york. after she settled into K's house and dropped her stuff off, we went to the local yolk to eat breakfast/lunch.

K, A, and i spent most of the day walking around manhattan beach and going into the different stores and shops. i didn't buy anything, but it doesn't mean i didn't find anything i didn't like. afterwards we decided to go across the street and borrow a few of her neighbor's bikes. we rode from manhattan beach to hermosa. or was it redondo? i don't even remember. but it was a great day for a bike ride.

that night, K had to do work at a shoot for an mtv show, so A and myself entertained ourselves and hung out with K's roommate and neighbors. it was pretty awesome. her neighbors came over and barbequed. another guy put on a nice acoustic guitar performance and K's roommate accompanied.

lots of drinking of beer. a pretty mellow and chill night. but fun nonetheless.
