ok, so i realized long ago that i'm no longer in that coveted 18-24 year old demographic. especially since i don't watch mtv shows anymore (with the exception of the occasional "sweet 16" rerun). and instead of stupid sitcoms or "one tree hill", i watch "prison break" or "grey's anatomy".
but one other huge factor in me knowing that i'm officially getting on in years (even though i'm only 25), is that i don't even watch vh1. i don't watch mtv. don't watch vh1. i watch vh1 classic.
the past few days, my tv at work has been locked on this channel. i love watching videos by skid row and poison. tuesday twoplay back to back videos from the police or the cars.
so forget TRL (which i haven't watched in years). vh1 classic is where it's at.

dude, since it's like metal mania month or whatever, they were playing a crapload of van halen, gnr, lynyrd skynyrd (though it was the reformed band, minus ronnie). i was having a ball. i'll be sad when they start showing 90's music on that channel.
I don't even watch music channels anymore at all. I watch PBS and the occasional South Park and Family Guy. Sometimes, I watch BBC. And very late at night, I watch Black Adder.
I don't think they market to my demographic.
to emily: the sad part is that they totally DO show 90s bands on vh1 classic REGULARLY.
to primordial stewardess: i think pbs and south park is totally our demographic. as sad as that might be to admit.
omg claudia. we're old. :(
