man do i feel like a useless piece of crap. everywhere i turn, it seems someone is doing something to better the lives of others. whether it be sitting down in an exclusive interview with anderson cooper (...angelina jolie!):

okay, maybe only two. but i swear i saw something related to the united nations and nicole kidman. she's still a celebrity, right?

in all seriousness though, it is heartbreaking every time you hear about the refugees in africa or the fact that there are still children dying from tuberulosis or hunger and people in general living in poverty. people tend to make fun of people for using their celebrity for a better cause, but the truth of the matter is, it does raise awareness. whether or not we choose to do anything about it is on our own conscience.
