my puppy fozzy is now about 6 1/2 months old. so albeit, he's still a baby. so i try to keep that in mind when he does something "bad". i buy him chew toys since he does love gnawing on things. i should've taken it as a sign of things to come when he repeatedly tore the stuffing out of his toys.


i now have a pile of items "victimized" by my dog.

item 1: my $10 pair of comfy jvc "gumy" headphones. the little bugger learned how to unzip my purse and took the headphones out of there. at least the ipod is still in tact.

item 2: pirates of the caribbean 2 dvd.

now this, i have to admit, was completely my fault. i made the mistake of gift wrapping a few gifts and putting them under the tree (which he has yet to attack). and while i was gone for a few hours watching the football game last night, he decided to get back at me for ignoring him by half devouring a gift i bought for someone else. chewed on all four corners, it is completely not gift-able. so now it's in my dvd collection. i actually thought about throwing it out than keeping it for myself. not because i don't like the movie, but because the case is so unsightly. i know, ridiculous. so now i have to buy another gift. i could buy the same thing again, but i feel like that'd be a waste of $20 bucks since i technically already bought it.

so needless to say, i will learn that things need to be out of reach and not left on the floor. lesson learned.
