at long last, the affair's debut album (on absolutely kosher) is FINALLY out and on sale. i didn't pre-order, so i went to virgin megastore before work to buy my very own copy. not only were they SPIN magazine's artist of the day last week, but their album is out TODAY, and their record release party is this friday. i have to say that i have nothing to do with this album, except for the fact that i consider some of these guys good acquaintances or friends, yet i was so excited when i bought the album. i can't imagine the level of happiness and excitement the band members are actually experiencing right now. something that they made is out and on sale for others to buy and enjoy.

need a sample of just how awesome this music is? put on your dancing shoes and download their song "left at the party" (which is a fabulous track). some of my favorites include: "unwanted company", "dead letters", and "anything but disco". but i love that i can listen to the album from beginning to end and love every single second of it.
