i just went outside to grab lunch. when i returned to the building and got on the elevator, it stopped on another floor where a guy got on to go to another floor. he looked at the floor i was going to and asked "what do you do at ______?" so i replied. and he kinda smiled and got off on the floor he was going to.

the whole exchange took less than 10 seconds. but after it was all over in a flash, i couldn't help but wonder if i'd missed an opportunity to get to know a kinda cute guy. i will say that he was around my height though, which sorta bothers me since i'm only 5'5"...
