i hope everyone had a wonderful easter sunday (if you celebrate the holiday, and if not, hope you had a nice sunday). i didn't get to make it home like most of my friends. then again, home is a little bit further than a train ride or bus ride away. but i did call my family to wish them a happy easter.

i didn't make it to church (i know shame on me, considering easter is the holiest holiday in catholicism). i woke up late and actually forgot today was easter sunday up until 1 o'clock. i watched a good part of the yankee game on tv and then left to enjoy the day. it went from sun, to snow, to partly cloudy, to sun. yet it was still 40 degrees. either way, i was still happy to be outside and enjoy the day in nyc.

i went to union square to do some shopping and ended up with a few shirts and pairs of shoes. after some retail therapy, i made my way over to city bakery to have one of their legendary hot chocolates. no words can describe, but it was like heaven in a cup. stores started closing around this time, so i made my way over to billy's bakery and bought a half dozen cupcakes. i ate one and was going to share one with my roommate, but he did something to annoy me so i decided to wait until tomorrow to share.
