if you have divorced parents, one of the things that comes with the territory is splitting your time with them over the holidays. i spent celebrated christmas with my mom on christmas eve. the following are a few photos of christmas with my dad's family in plano.

here's a photo of my cousin and my little sister. my sister lost 3 of her teeth just in time for christmas, so she wasn't much for smiling.

the family portrait: my brother (25), me (28), and my little sister (7). she's technically my half-sister, hence the age difference.

hard to tell, but here is my gift pile vs my sisters. i mean, she's 7, so her pile is clearly larger. and let's face it, i'm surprised my family still buys me gifts at all.

my chucks finally got replaced! old chucks= 2007-2008. new chucks= 2008- ?

nothing spells christmas like opening gifts with a beer in hand.
the rest of the day consisted of eating lunch, eating dessert, family feuds, and a trip to the movie theater. half of us went to see marley and me, the other half to see four christmases. all in all, another memorable christmas in the DFW area.
